Tooth extraction?

I'm getting 4 of my teeth extracted soon, and i was wondering if i have to wait a long time before i can put my braces on? because i want to put my braces on like 1 day after my extraction. or do i have to wait for a week or so?

Reply:You definitely have to wait a bit. Usually the reason for getting teeth removed is overcrowding. So when you get the teeth removed, you have to wait a while so there won't be anymore overcrowding.
Reply:When I was 11 I had 4 teeth extracted but I already had braces on they just stopped the wire right before the teeth that were getting pulled and then about a week later they added a wire.
Reply:i had mine pulled probably about a few weeks before i got my spacers in. is it the back four? those are the ones they generally pull if your mouth is overcrowded. it's not too bad... although the gas did make me sick.
