After tooth extraction question?

I get my tooth extracted on Tuesday recomended by my orthodontist to make my bottom teeth even because I made the other one loose on the opposite side by hitting my head off my night stand and then it fell out a couple days later while eating a hot dog. And I was planning on staying home from school that day depending on how I feel because it's Open House that day anyways so we probably get out early like we do every other year. Also my b/f really wants to come over that day after my mom brings me back home and leaves for work because she's racist and it'll probably be the only oppourtunity we have to see each other for a while and we only see each other once a little over 2 weeks. Which sucks, but we were planning on having sex like everytime we see each other and last night after I got off the phone with him I started thinking that maybe since that it's gonna be open in my mouth if we make out or I give him head it could get infected. And now I don't think that's a good idea.

After tooth extraction question?
U don't want to put anything like that in your mouth till the area is healed. U really do not want an infection in your mouth. It will hurt like hell.

What we have always told patients is "nothing hot like soup for a couple days, no sucking like on straws until you can't feel a gap anymore, and no hard contact like with hard candy until it feels okay." A tooth extraction is a surgery, so take care of it like one.
