Constant neck pain and some jaw pain after wisdom tooth extraction?

I had my upper and lower wisdom teeth pulled on my left side 3 weeeks ago and now I have a reoocuring neck pain and some jaw pain and at times the pain even goes down to the top of my shoulder and at times up to my ear. The pain is on the same side as the extractions and I am wondering if it is related to my wisdom teeth extractions since it started after they were pulled?

BTW the funny part is the pain is in my neck more than anywhere and I think it is coming from the gland.

Constant neck pain and some jaw pain after wisdom tooth extraction?
I didn't have the pain in my neck, per se, but my jaw continued to hurt quite a bit after my wisdom teeth were removed. I had "dry sockets" which is essentially what happens when the blood clot is dislodged from where the tooth once was. It gets infected and hurts like heck. You should go back to your oral surgeon to let him/her look at it. Infections in your mouth can be deadly because it can get into every system of your body. Don't waste time getting it checked!
Reply:3 weeks later and pain?? You could have an infection!!! Call your doctor asap to get checked out, this is serious.

Post-surgical infections are just as risky as surgery itself, so don't put this off.
Reply:It's really weird but the teeth are hooked up to everything in that area, your ears, neck, throat, pulmonary arteries and heart, etc.. The doctor might have punched a hole through something.
Reply:More than likely it is not from the extraction but from the novocaine that they injected into you before the extraction. if it hit wrong it deadened a nerve and will take 3 to 5 weeks to regenerate. So long as it is not getting any worse, give it another week or two before you worry too much. If it worsens or does not clear up in another 2 week, get thee to a Dr.
