The swelling went down yesterday but the pain was still here, but not as bad. Well today i was eating steakums and onions and i took a bite then i felt my tooth start to hurt bad. i felt my cheek a few mins later and its swollen alot, what should i do? is there something wrong/ how can i make the healing process go faster, and the swelling go down.

Tooth extraction. HELP PLEASE?
sounds like infection. take 1 diplofenic sodium tablet after meals (just one a day) and get an antibiotic. take two tablets aday for 1 week. take the antibiotic twice a day just one each time.

good luck.
Reply:You might need a short course of antibiotics. In the meantime just dose up on painkillers.
Reply:Had the same issue. Please do rinse your mouth with warm salt water. It helps that area stay clean and disinfected. Helps with the swelling and helps the cut heal faster. It worked for me and also don't forget to take any antibiotics prescribed or just simply tylenol.

Good luck.
Reply:ask your dentist about dry socket
