It's been 6 days since I've gotten my wisdom teeth taken out. I was just brushing my teeth and I accidentally brushed the extraction site. It bled a little and one of the dissolving stitches came off. Should I be worried about this?

As long as it's not hurting, I wouldn't worry about it. It should definitely have had time to start healing. One thing you can do to help it along is to rinse with warm salty water; doesn't taste great, but it's really good for mouth injuries.
Reply:unless you're a hemophiliac I say you have nothing to worry about. I had nylon stitches and was spitting them out a few days after my surgery.
Reply:It'll probally be okay,but to be sure,call your dentist. The nurse should be able to answer those kinds of questions for you.
