Tooth extraction?

i had a tooth extracted on monday.is it normal for it still to be sore?

The pain will go away in about a week, but no longer than 2 weeks.

Reply:If it is a molar they tend to be sore longer, but if you have a lot of pain you might have a dry socket which you will need to call the dentist.
Reply:soreness is normal, but pain is not. if it's just soreness, rinse with salt water. ibuprophen reduces swelling and helps with the soreness. good luck!
