or is just a Dentist (BDS) okay? I have learnt that an Oral Surgeon (OMFS) is more qualified and specilised in dealing with tooth extraction than a dentist (BDS).
Due to the potential complications like damage to nerve endings by a wisdom tooth extraction surgery, i would rather play the safe card.
do you think it's worth the cost (which i assume is more expensive?) to find a oral surgeon to perform the surgery? if so, where can i find one? it seems in most clinics they are all dentists not oral surgeon. Thanks
Where can i find a Oral Surgeon (OMFS) for wisdom tooth extraction?
Normally your dentist will hook you up with an Oral Surgery place... However, if not, you can always search online or flip through the yellow pages.
Reply:800 DENTIST ... just tell them what they you want / tell them your insurance, they will do a search and give you the choices in your area.
