Tooth Extraction !!!!!!?

so i have a baby tooth that doesnt have an adult tooth under it and i have to get it pulled out and the dentist has to drill a small medal thing down into my jaw bone and then after a few months of recovery he'll put a fake tooth in





has anyone else had this done and do you have advice or more info

It sounds like you are getting an implant to replace the baby tooth. It is becoming more and more common to have these placed. There are a lot of advantages of an implant over other treatments such as a bridge. You do not need to touch adjacent teeth in order to have it placed. You may experience some discomfort afterwards but all that should be explained by your dentist. If you have any other concerns let me know.
Reply:Is your baby tooth trashed? If it is ok, there is no reason to remove the baby tooth. It can last for a very long time.





If the baby tooth is too far gone, the implant shouldn't be a big deal.. They will numb you up and might have to wear a bandage of sorts for a couple days. After the bone around the implant grows in, they can put your fake tooth on. It really is a nice system of replacing teeth. Good luck!
