Wisdom tooth extraction Friday?

I have an extraction for Friday. Any advice? I had 3 pulled 5 years ago and this is my last wisdom tooth. Never came in which is why I am going to an Oral Surgeon. I am asking on Yahoo cause I am sure I am going to forgot to ask the surgeon while I am there and once the procedure is done, I will be so doped up. Thanks

Don't eat any corn this weekend.

Reply:Make sure you have broth, and someone to help you out, in case the pain meds make you sick or too woozy to function properly!
Reply:Dont make any plans for that day or the day after just make time to lay on the couch. Stock up on liquids or soft foods you wont have to chew. The doc should give you pain meds. You can get ice packs if you want to place on your cheeck to reduce swelling. You should be alright. I got all 4 of mine out at the same time and it wasnt too bad the first day was the worst i was swollen and couldnt eat much i slept most of the day due to pain meds. Oh yeah and be ready to drool so keep a towel handy. Hope thats enough info to get you through. Good luck.

Reply:Get a lot of rest, and try to sleep the worst of it off. I thought apple sauce was the easiest to eat, or even fruit baby foods (too much will give you the runs, but better than nothing). Take your pain meds, watch a lot of t.v., and you'll be fine by Monday. Good Luck!
